My heart is breaking.... My little Mya is 4 MONTHS OLD! How did this happen so quickly? When I was pregnant I was SO excited for a teeny baby who just cuddles and sleeps curled up in a little ball on my chest. I knew the tiny newborn phase would go quickly so I tried to cherish every moment and every second of cuddle time with my new little one, I swear she spent like 10 minutes a day in her little bed. Now here it is she is already 4 months old...
Eating- Three cheers for Me!!! I am still nursing, I haven't had to give her a bottle or formula. This is a huge deal for me as this was a big stress for me. I had a really hard time nursing Jackson and ended up quitting entirely somewhere between 3-4 months with him (right when Kevin got diagnosed with cancer.) She is 4 and a half months old right now and nursing is going just fine. She still wants to nurse every two hours during the day and has had a cold the past week so has wanted to nurse every hour and a half. *exhausting* I haven't been drinking the tea, mainly because I don't think to make any and my supply is holding up fine. Mya seems SUPER interested in food, whenever we are eating dinner she gets really annoyed and trys to grab my food or drink and watches me put food in my mouth.
Napping- we know when she's tired and have the morning nap down pretty good but she isn't sleeping very long. She takes between 2-3 naps a day but is only sleeping between 20-60 minutes. To get her to sleep we have been holding and rocking her until she is asleep and then laying her in her bed. Her doctor suggested we let her fall asleep on her own from now on... I am scared and stressed to do this. I can't handle her crying. I'm waiting till she is better from her cold then we'll work on it.
At night- She sleeps a long stretch usually around 9 pm for about 5 hours or so then sleep in increments of about 2 hours, with eating in between... I am really just a pacifier at this point. This too is another thing to work on says the doctor...
Mys is the cutest little thing with quite the wardrobe. Everywhere we go people tell us what a beautiful baby she is and how cute her outfits and hair bows are. She loves to smile and has just started to laugh. She ROLLS every which way, front to back, back to front, side to side.... She can roll from her back to her tummy then swivel herself around to face the TV. Her doctor said that this is incredible of her. By four months they are supposed to be able to roll onto their side- so she is way advanced on this. She is way interested in toys and everything goes straight into her mouth. She loves to chew on fingers and drools puddles. She flails her arms still and shakes them as if she was scared. She recently started spitting up more but she isn't bothered so much by it. She loves the bath and loves Jackson. She has been better in the car as long as Jackson or mom or dad is sitting by her. We LOVE this baby girl so much, she is certainly showered with kisses and loves all day long.

I know you don't want to hear this but you have to let her cry it out. I have one child (kobe) who I rocked to sleep and layed down with and now he is 2.5 he still needs that attention and still wants me to lay down with him to get him to sleep. It's such a pain in the butt. Jesse on the other hand - I put him in his crib and if he's not hungry he'll just lay there and play and talk a little but he just knows that it's time to sleep and will eventually go to sleep. It's SO MUCH NICER. I have so much more time and if I have to get something done I don't feel bad at all just putting him in his crib and letting him fall asleep because he is just used to it. 4 months is a great age to start doing that...she'll be sleeping through the night soon if you just let her cry it out a few nights..(well maybe wait a few months) but still you will LOVE life if you do it. She is cute though and it is very hard hearing them cry but you just gotta do it because I know best!!!
What a cute girl! She always looks all dolled up and beautiful! 4 months old is my favorite :)
4 months! Yeah. Good job Mama. I do love her clothes, but that comes second to her cute face and smile.
