Disneyland

The Happiest Place on Earth!!!

This past week and a half we were fortunate enough to spend some time at Disneyland. This is one of my VERY favorite places in the entire world... seriously I could just move in to the castle.

My sister lives in Long Beach and needed some help last week while her husband was in London on a business trip, so me and Jackson drove down last Sunday. We survived a terrible blizzard all through Utah that ended after Cedar City and then entered 65-70 degree weather the rest of the drive... Lovely!

Kevin flew down on Wednesday and spent the next 6 days with me there. We did our Disneyland "Give a day, Get a day" volunteer hours and got a free day at Disneyland- and since my sister lives in Southern California and we stay there so much they let us upgrade our free tickets to a year long season pass(They put the cost of our free day worth $72, towards a season pass price)!!!! It ended up being only $90 each for us to get passes- well worth it when you consider a ONE DAY pass is $72... So we went 4 times while we were there and came home today.

My sister and her kids have passes as well so Jackson got to go with his sweet cousins. He was so excited to see all the characters he just kept blowing kisses and hugging them.

Jackson with his cousin Caleb, they are best pals!

Chip and Dale with Morgan, Jackson, and Caleb

The beloved Dumbo ride... Jackson is a huge fan of the movie so this was a dream come true!

Autopia ride

Goofy, another love of Jacksons....

Jackson and Caleb on Autopia

Donald at California Adventure

Mater and McQueen- Super cool... Jack was even wearing his McQueen shirt.

Woody... By the way the Toy Story ride at California Adventure was our Favorite! Way fun!!!

Jackson's first roller coaster! He LOVED it and kept asking to go again... He was about 1/2 an inch short for most the other roller coasters... too bad, next time we will put him in platforms...

These were the CUTEST carmel apples I have ever seen! They used marshmallows as ears and a sparkly sugar on the bottom. Way too cute to eat.

I haven't been since I got married and Kevin hasn't been in a very long time so it was such a fun experience for us to take Jackson for his first time (and to only pay $90 for the year helped). So if anyone wants to go to Disneyland give me a call and we'll be there!
