Homemade Slip 'n Slide

So while I was making my last blog entry this is what Jackson was doing-

He loves the water and has found an entertaining way to use our soaking tub.

Thanksgiving Point $2 Tuesday

In the month of August Thanksgiving Point did $2 Tuesdays. Every venue was only two dollars to get in, if you have ever been to Thanksgiving Point you know what a good deal this was. The gardens are normally $8 a person and the Dinosaur Museum is normally $10. So yesterday we went and did it all.

This is in the Childrens Discovery Garden. It was so pretty, and I had such a fun time walking around with Jackson, he was so interested in it all and made it really fun.

Next we headed over to the Dino Museum and met Kevin after work, this is in front of the UTAHraptor...

I know, Kevin could have mentioned that I was showing a bit of skin to the 500 kids there.

Digging in the sand was his favorite part by far. Me- I loved it all. Jackson is just so much fun right now and has such a fun and independent personality developing. This trip was well worth $2.

Angie's Visit

So this last week Angie, my sister, came up to visit from Long Beach. I haven't seen her in so long! She has four kids and the youngest is Caleb- he is 6 weeks older than Jackson. Lisa, my sister in South Jordan, came and played with us too. Her baby is Caden and is 9 days older than Jackson so it was crazy having three toddlers in the house! Jackson is lucky to have 6 cousins close to his same age.

We decided to have a photo shoot for the three boys- man was that totally crazy! We had like three adults trying to make funny faces and funny noises to make them laugh- it totally didn't work!

Jackson, Caden, and Caleb

Finally!!! Some success! A few smiles and jackson is imitating my funny face.

Morgan is Angie's second youngest. She wanted to have her picture taken too. Lisa used her fancy camera and only picked up the color green in this picture.

I'm so glad Angie got to come for a visit! I love having her around. She let me do her hair, her makeup and a pedicure on her, just like old times!

Cascade Springs and the Botany Pond

So last Saturday we went to the BYU botany pond. There were so many babies and turtles swimming around. Jackson loved it he followed them around quacking...

Nice Mohawk Jack!!! He's such a rebel.

A few weeks ago we took a sunday drive up to Cascade Springs. I love going up there and had a lot of fun taking Jackson up there for his first time. It was so pretty!
