Disneyland Sept 2010

With all three of us having a year long season pass to Disneyland we have been super lucky to go a few times this year. It has been a wonderful experience and makes for a pretty inexpensive vacation for us to do. We use about 2-3 tanks of gas and bring lots of snacks and food from home. My sister lives in Long Beach and her family all have passes so they come and meet us there or we stay at their house.
This trip my sister Lisa and two of her kids Caden, and Brinlee, went as well with their passes so then my mom decided to get a pass and came as well. I know Jackson loved having so many cousins and Grandma being there.

Back to School

We all went to "Daddy's Big School" to buy books. Jackson thought UVU was so much fun. There was a kid in the hallway juggling a few balls and Jackson made us stop in our tracks and watch the juggler.
Kevin is enrolled for his fourth and final year of plumbing through UVU. After this year he'll need to complete his on the job hours and take his state tests and he will be a full residential and commercial plumber. Yippie! (Now to find a job... again....)

Mrs. Sillymiss

Jackson entertains me all day long. This is him introducing me to "Mrs. Sillymiss."

Babysitting Maddy

Maddy is my dog that I got in 2003. She currently lives with my parents but if they go out of town or we need a pet for the weekend we get to dog-sit. Jackson absolutely LOVES Maddy and beg for her to have a sleepover with us all the time.

While Maddy was sleeping Jackson brought in all his favorite stuffed animals for her to cuddle with.

We can only watch "dog shows" like Clifford or Garfield or other shows that have a dog in them. We take lots of walks and go to the park with her.

After... She hadn't been groomed for a really long time so we took her to the Doggy Spa. She is one spoiled dog when she visits!

Horse Party!

Jackson's cousin Savannah had a birthday party up at Stephen Story's (Stephen's hot chocolate guy) horse ranch/cabin up in Wallsburg. Craig (kevin's brother) works at Tahitian Noni with him so we got a private horse back riding party. The horse arena is huge and incredible and loaded with award winning horses.

He loved every minute of riding and kept asking for them to go faster- which meant the stable girls had to run... poor things were exhausted after Jackson's turn.

Nielsen Family Reunion

In August we had a Nielsen (My mother-in-law's side) family reunion. I guess its been 6 years since the last one so before me and Kevin got married. I didn't know many people but we had a great time.
It was so stinking HOT... There was a fountain with a sign saying No Swimming, but was swarmed with kids swimming in it so I let Jackson jump in with his clothes on to cool off. Total white trash, I know.

We took Jackson's clothes off to dry in the sun which means for all the games and water balloon toss Jackson and a few of his cousins ran around in underwear. I know, even worse white trash...

Whenever the Colyar cousins get together they like to race. From Left to right we have Justin, Jackson, Luke (the other undies boy) and Blake.
